- Elements - $4.99. A markdown text editor that syncs with Dropbox. Great for managing/editing text documents while on the go.
- TextExpander - $4.99. Quickly expand longer text snippets via keyboard shortcuts so you don’t have to type as much. Syncs via Dropbox and works with many apps. A productivity must-have.
- iThoughts - $7.99. A feature-rich mind mapping application that exports to many different applications and formats including OPML.
- Pastebot - $3.99. Multi-copy and paste for your phone. Be sure to install the companion Pastebot Sync app too for desktop to mobile syncing.
- Google+ - Free. Google’s social network.
- Google Voice - Free. Replace the native iPhone phone app with this Google Voice enhanced version.
- Ego - $1.99. An app for tracking all your web service stats such as FeedBurner, Google Analytics, PageRank, Twitter, etc.
- Prompt - $4.99. Your mobile SSH client.
- Nezumi - $4.99. Manage your Heroku apps while on the go. Includes the ability to change dynos sizes, add collaborators, run a console, and restart servers.

- Air Mouse Pro - $0.99. Another app that can turn your iPhone into a mouse and keyboard for remote control of your MacOS/Windows machines.
- Air Video - Free (or $2.99). With the server software installed on either your Windows or MacOS server box, you can stream any video to your iPhone.
- Boxee - Free. Easily control the Boxee media server software running on your local media server all via your phone.
- iPhlix - $2.99. Manage your Netflix queue.
- Shazam - Free. Launch this app to listen to a song playing at your friend’s place, a club, etc. It will attempt to detect who the artist and album of the song for you.
- PhotoForge - $1.99. An image editor.
- Camera+ - $1.99. Capture, edit, transform, and share images.
- Camera Plus Pro - $1.99. Easily capture, edit, and share your photos/videos.
- Timelapse Pro - $1.99. Captures several pictures over time and converts them into a video.
- TiltShift - $0.99. Create miniature pictures from real-world images.
- AutoStitch - $1.99. Easily stitch multiple photos into a single panoramic photo.
- 360 Panorama - $1.99. Easily create 360 views of where you are at for easy sharing via Twitter, etc.
- Convertbot - $1.99. A unit conversion tool that is both functional and beautiful.
- Epicurious - Free. Be able to search recipes, make shopping lists, and view ingredients and cooking instructions.
- Grocery IQ - Free. A handy app for grocery shopping. Looks like it is only supported on the iPhone with desktop synchronization. Web support is coming though.
- Foodtree - Free. “Makes it easy to take photos of local food, share these photos and locate other local food in your area.”
- Trapster - Free. Find out where police are hiding to prevent paying highway tax.
- Planets - Free. Provides maps and location information of the moon, sun, starts, constellations, etc.
- GoSkyWatch Planetarium - $9.99. Makes viewing the night sky easy by mapping the constellations for you based on your location and viewing position of the night sky.
- Reeder - $2.99. Probably the best syndicated feed reader for your iPhone.
- iBooks - Free. Read books purchased via the Apple iTunes Store.
- Kindle - Free. Read books purchased from Amazon on your iPhone.
- MotionX GPS - $2.99. The web site and app interface is low quality but it supports GPS logging and a way to export the data (via email, which might be questionable). At the moment, this seems to be the only GPS tracker for the iPhone.
- NASA - Gain instant access to news and media related to the space program and other happenings beyond the atmosphere.
- Guitar Toolkit - $9.99. A collection of utilities for your guitar such as: chord finder, tuner, metronome, chromatic tuner, etc.
- Paypal - Free. Easily transfer money between friends and family using your Paypal account.
- TurboScan - $1.99. Turns the camera into a scanner that can quickly OCR documents as text, PDFs, etc.
- Red Laser - Free. Turn your iPhone into a UPC scanner. Handy for comparing prices.
- Qrafter - Free. Adds the ability to scan QR Codes via your camera.
- WiFi Get - A handy WiFi and Hotspot finder while on the go.
- Chess with Friends - Free. Play a game of Chess with family and/or friends.
- Words with Friends Free. Play a game of Scrabble with family and/or friends.
- EleMints - Free (or $4.99). For those times when you need a kick-ass periodic table.
- Flight Card $4.99. Your boarding pass digitized in a beautiful and easy to use fashion.
- Air Display - $9.99. Turn your iOS device into an additional monitor using your wireless network.
- HeyTell - Free. Turns your phone into a walkie talkie with a few extra benefits.
- Word Lens Free. Translate images to words in multiple languages. Handy when lost in a foreign country.
- What Cocktail? - $1.99. For times where you need to quickly pull up the recipe for your favorite drink or discover a knew one.
- Leafsnap - Free. A free app developed by Columbia University, University of Maryland, and the Smithsonian Institution to identify tree species via a photo taken of their leaves.
- AroundMe - Free. A nice tool for discovering points of interest and resources near your current location.
- CardFlick - Free. Your business card, digitized. Easily share contact info with fellow CardFlick users or via email. Each business card can be beautifully themed.
- Cards - Free. Compose and mail beautiful letter-pressed cards while mobile.
- Luxylight Free. Turns your phone into a flashlight. It is also a very good looking and easy to use app.
- AirPort Utility - Free. Manage your AirPort via your iOS device.
- Find My iPhone - Free. Uses any iOS device that you own to find another iOS device. Complete with remote erasing of data.
- Screens - $19.99. Turns your phone into a VNC client.
- Type2Phone - $4.99. Turns your Mac into a bluetooth keyboard for your phone.
