This site is a view of the world through my own professional and personal experiences. Most information found within this site is technical in nature but do not let that deter you. …and, of course, the postings on this site are my own and do not necessarily represent the positions, strategies or opinions of any company I might work for.
I started my career working for Object Technology International (OTI) that originally specialized in building software development tools for Smalltalk but then switched to building tools in Java that eventually became known as the Eclipse IDE. While OTI was bought out by IBM and no longer exists some of the crew can be found at Planet OTI.
I have worked for several companies since the days of OTI and even created my own company: Local Dish. My skills are with Java and now Ruby but I also work with a lot of other software which can be viewed on my software page.
To encourage knowledge sharing in hopes that I will learn as much from you as you learn from me. I am enthused about technology, where it is going, and how it can make life better for us all. This web site is the foundation.
