Review

Half Cousin is an Irish band that juxtaposes folk music with digital fragments to create a unique but off-beat album that really works. The songs “Big Chief (The B&B Frequenter)” and “The Absentee” are my favorite but the rest of the songs on the album are great as well.

“Iodine” is the second album released by Half Cousin. I haven’t listened to their first album, “The Function Room”, but it might be worth checking out as well.

   I’d say a 9 out of 10, maybe even 9.25. (Yes, I’m very precise.) I really liked the CD, and I’ve been playing the hell out of it lately.
