Jack-O’-Lanterns

We had a bit of fun this last weekend and carved out some Jack-O’-Lanterns to spice up the neighborhood.  Here are a few pictures our handiwork:

   Yep, you are correct. I sketched a pattern out on paper, grabbed a knife, and carved away.

   Kate, on the other hand, found some cool patterns online. In particular that ghost pattern. She then stenciled it on the pumpkin and then cut it out.

   It was a lot of fun. Sadly, both pumpkins are looking a little shriveled now and probably will have to be tossed here shortly.
