Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Upgrade

In case you were an early adopter and bought a Mac recently, you can upgrade for $9.95 using Apple’s up-to-date program. You just need your original sales receipt and the serial number of your machine. If you bought directly from the online Apple Store it is even easier. Just fill out this online form and checkout.

  1. Have you installed this update yet? I’m curious to see what you think about it. I’ve been reading that it is mostly visual and organizational updates more than anything but still worth a look. I also came across some interesting news in the side of linux. The Beryl project is taking the same approach as vista a the max os with a liquid type interface. Take a look, pretty cool:

  3. No, I haven’t been able to upgrade to Leopard yet. I’m still waiting for my disk to arrive in the mail.

Thanks for the video. Ubuntu is a fun OS. I use it mostly for server-type activities but should really play with the client more.
